US warns pro-Syrian forces to leave border area
WASHINGTON (AP) - The United States is telling seasoned-Syrian authorities forces to transport far from a place close to the Jordanian border in which the coalition is training allied rebels.
The warning comes less than weeks after the Americans bombed Iranian-subsidized troops there who failed to heed comparable warnings.
Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman, says the U.S. Dropped leaflets over the weekend telling the forces to depart the mounted covered quarter.
Davis says the U.S. Has visible pro-Syrian authorities militias patrolling and collecting inside the wasteland round Tanf. The region has been considered a "deconflicted" zone below a U.S.-Russian knowledge.
Davis says "loads" of seasoned-authorities forces are within the location.
